Tucked away in a quiet court, this immaculate 2 storey cottage boasts lovely bushland views and some very friendly native birds. Whilst the property is officially named 'Peppermint Lodge' we like to call it 'Kookaburra Corner'. The one that dropped in while we were taking the photos was not at all perturbed by our presence.
We think you will be pretty relaxed too once when you pull up a chair on the verandah and take a few deep breaths of the fresh eucalyptus scented air. All of this serenity is only a few minutes from the gates of Mt Buller so you can enjoy 'first tracks' without getting up at the crack of dawn. The beautiful Delatite River is even closer, along with access to the huge variety of motorbike and 4WD tracks in Mansfield State Forest. And then there's the amazing walking and mountain bike tracks. So many outdoor adventures to pursue...and what a great home base to retire to at the end of the day. Super cosy in winter and nice and cool in summer with a wood fire and reverse cycle split system. There's 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a separate WC, a decent laundry and a nice kitchen to cook up the fresh produce from the veggie patch. There's also a small fruit orchard and chicken coop. 4 legged family members are well catered for with secure fences and 2 legged members will appreciate the carport connected to the house so they can go inside without getting wet in when it rains. There's also plenty of secure storage under the house, with the potential to create a workshop or studio STCA.
