Last Listing description (September 2026)

Dear Future Owner,

When we first found 4 Leisure Lane, it was the peacefulness that captured our hearts.

Tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, the home offered something that became increasingly precious to our family over the years - space, privacy and the feeling of being able to truly escape, while still being close to everything we needed. But what really made us fall in love with this home was the creek.

Looking out over the water and greenery, you feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle. It is a view that never gets old, and one we know will be one of the things we miss most when we leave.

Our favourite places have always been the backyard around the pool and the sunroom, where we could sit back and simply enjoy the outlook. There is something particularly special about the home in the late afternoon, around 4:30 or 5pm, when the sun begins to set over the pool. In the cooler months, gathering around the fire makes those afternoons and evenings even more memorable.

For our family, this home has been so much more than bricks and mortar. Our children have grown up with the freedom to raise chickens, fish, swim and explore the creek, spending hours spotting and feeding the local turtles. They built tree houses, swings and cubbies along the creek, and there was plenty of room for our dogs to run freely.

The size of the backyard also meant that Christmas and Easter became wonderful family gatherings, with enough space for all the cousins to come together, play and create memories.

Over the years, we have continued to improve the property, always wanting to preserve what we loved while making it even more enjoyable. We have restored the beautiful timber floors in the sunroom, replaced the carpet throughout the main bedroom and two additional bedrooms, rebuilt the lower creekside deck using waterproof timber and replaced the outdoor blockout blinds to provide additional protection from the afternoon sun.

The main living area has also been freshly repainted, while the acreage grounds have been thoughtfully landscaped and cleared over the years, creating a more manageable, low-maintenance garden setting.

There are also some wonderful surprises that may not be immediately obvious when you first arrive.

The home is double brick, offering a wonderful sense of solidity and space, while the land provides plenty of opportunity for those who dream of growing their own vegetables and enjoying a little more self-sufficient living.

And then there is the garage music studio - a fantastic additional space that could continue as a studio, hobby room or creative retreat, or potentially be transformed into a granny flat, subject to council approval.

Most of all, though, we hope the next family feels what we felt when we first arrived here. A sense of peace and a sense of freedom.

If we could take just one thing with us, it would be that beautiful backyard creek view.

We hope you love it as much as we have.

With love,
The Owners
