Taringa West is located approximately 24kms east of Green Head, 56kms north of Jurien Bay and 123 kms northwest of the major regional centre of Moora. It is 15kms west of the Brand Highway and has good access from all directions.Without doubt its redeeming feature is the quality of soils located so near to the coast and in such a reliable rainfall zone of 550-600mm. The gravels offered by the property are highly productive with the current owner having utilised a number of modern techniques to ameliorate the soils. Approximately 110ha has been clayed and spaded to improve the overall farm production. In addition, the farm has been Plozza Plowed as well as the majority has been deep ripped. Paddocks have been cleaned up of trees, stumps and large rocks to make cropping efficient, and all gravel ridges have been Reefinated. Currently crops of wheat, canola and lupins have been grown on annual rotations of what has become in recent years a 100% cropping program.Being just 24kms from the coastal town of Green Head the property has a longer finish and cooler breezes to allow a soft finish to the larger crops on offer. The soils, predominantly excellent gravels with the remainder made up of sand over gravel and sand over clay are located on an undulating landscape and are very well drained. The very high aspect enables views to the ocean, and it is a wonderfully scenic block of land with high breakaways. Of the 963 hectares approximately 690 hectares are croppable with the balance being remnant vegetation and access roads. There is gravel road access to all paddocks as well as 3 gravel pads. There is a small fertilizer shed along with 2 x 75T Moylan Silos (new 2025). The property has had robust rates of compound and nitrogenous fertilisers used consistently and soils are set up for the 2026 cropping season. The soils have been spread with lime and Dolomite consistently where recommended. Paddock rotations, yield data and chemical usage over the last 5 years will be made available to qualified buyers. There is an abundance of water sourced from the 7 soaks and 6 dams located on the property.
