THE DESIGN

The house embraces timber, with its grain and texture enhancing both the interior and exterior environments. The wall linings feature hoop pine ply, with the exterior showcasing a rough-sawn timber finish painted black. Additionally, both the flooring and ceilings are constructed from clear-treated plywood, providing a cohesive look. Elements of nature are timelessly captured in each living space through floor-to-ceiling picture windows, louvres and sliding doors. Verandahs expand the living spaces into the surrounding landscape, enhancing the striking architecture.

Karri Loop House features a welcoming living space that cultivates an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The stunning views of the private courtyard are framed beautifully by large timber-framed sliding doors and extensive glass. This area is ideal for entertaining, whether for intimate family gatherings or larger dinner parties.

The kitchen features a NEFF slide-and-hide oven, an induction cooktop, and an integrated dishwasher, complemented by generous countertop space and a variety of innovative storage solutions. Additionally, the walk-through scullery offers extra storage, including extra bench space and a spacious pantry, enhancing the space's functionality.

Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows facilitate an uninterrupted visual and spatial connection between the interior and exterior, emphasising the stunning gardens. The use of timber throughout the living and lounge areas creates a warm and intimate ambience. The stunning view is timeless and captivating, especially at dusk when the gardens are beautifully illuminated. The corridor serves as a vital link between the living areas and the bedroom wing, maximising functionality and flow within the space. This unique design not only enhances accessibility but also allows for a variety of creative storage solutions. Situated just before the main hallway, a thoughtfully designed walk-through office features a built-in desk and ample storage options, creating an efficient workspace. Additionally, it offers convenient access to the laundry area with an outdoor drying space.

THE GARDENS

The lush environment at Karri Loop showcases a stunning blend of native plants and Zen-inspired flora, creating a tranquil atmosphere.
