Clifton Hills is the best, but this is the best of Clifton Hills, at its absolute best! We have a big home.We have views. We have side access. We have a winner! INSIDEThis is some brilliant living space; spaces actually because we have four of them. A great lounge room with a view. A large games/theatre room.A family meals area.A formal dining room (as it was in the eighties when folks had those formal dinner parties) which would make a great activity room or study or a flippin' big scullery. (Or you can have a formal dining room, I'm not judging your Saturday nights, I'm just saying that formal dining isn't a massive thing anymore. If you want to have your friends around for a three-course meal and a game of Trivial Pursuit, then that's totally cool. Let's just say it's a great space adjacent the kitchen and you can do a whole lot of stuff in it.)This home is truly immaculate, and has new carpets, fresh paint and is just so super clean. The kitchen is a good size and there is plenty of workspace to prep for that dinner party you seem so keen to have, as well as running the family meal prep each day. It's a really functional design. The bedrooms are all of a good size and the master bedroom is something to really love, with a view, a large built-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom. The secondary rooms have big built-in robes, and there's one with a view for the favourite child and the other two rooms are great too. Even the laundry is big in this one, it's got storage space and heaps of room for all the things that go on in a laundry. OUTSIDEThe amount of high-quality workmanship that's gone into this place is incredible. Let's talk about the position. To get a view this good you've got to go up a hill and when you go up a hill it means you're building on a hill. It's not a flat block but my goodness they've made it usable. Huge retaining walls create three levels for you to enjoy. Up the top, this is one seriously awesome place to sit and look at the world. There's one level with a bunch of fruit trees and you can really get creative with these spaces. So, you may be wondering what's with that brick bunker in the photos. Apparently, the original owners cured their meats out there and had a bit of homemade sausaging going on, and that was where it all happened. You don't have to make your own sausages in it, it could be a garden shed or suit a bunch of other storage uses. (But you can make sausages if you want, it sure adds an interesting component to wow your guests at the dinner party when you serve a homemade cabanossi. On a toothpick with a picked onion and a cube of cheese, because the eighties.)The property has fantastic side access with a concrete driveway along the side of the house taking you to the main house level. Most folks with a hills house have horrible access hassles, however this is as easy as it gets!Parking is a breeze with plenty of driveway space and the large double undercroft garage providing heaps of parking and storage space. WHAT IS IT ABOUT IT THAT MAKES IT SO AWESOME? They just don't build them this good anymore, and you'll be impressed with that. But whilst I've mentioned the eighties, you'll see it and agree that in 2021 this house offers an awesome configuration that suits our modern life to the ground. It was ahead of its time in many ways and maybe the time we're in needs more of what this place offers. It has incredible family-friendly-functionality and a quality build that makes this property an absolute standout.
