I need a bit of help to become the house I was - but I am WELL worth the effort! With some touch ups and a bit of maintenance work, this home set on a whopping 911sqm will be MAGICAL, and I kid you not the outdoor deck area is just awesome! What I would have given to have an outdoor space like this when I was in my youth! And where else will you find a property in this area with its own rowing boat? Built in 1969, this house is in joint ownership with Keystart at present so the price is based on solid bank valuations - no risk buying! As with all homes of this vintage, it is full of character and charm that cant be replicated but it has fallen below its best and needs some handyman touches to make it beautiful once more.
The home has 3 big bedrooms, a separate lounge and a kitchen / dining area with a separate laundry room. There is a bonus enclosed slept area which adds a really decent second living area to the house. There is ducted air con, an alarm and throughout the home are the most beautiful wooden floorboards so typical of the wood used on many homes in the area at that time and when they are polished up they are STUNNING.

The obvious question is one of zoning and the answer is that it is currently zones r17,5 ALTHOUGH it is one street over from the r20/r60's and there is already a subdivision in this street, so it is well worth asking the question of council. There is ample side access and well over 440sqm out the back too so its perfect in every way really!
But back to the house. Outside is one large Deck! Its HUGE and in times gone by there was a pool table, a bar and a games area and it was AWESOME. Down some steps you will enter the large garden area with a powered workshop and a garden shed and a HUGE pond / LAKE that once upon a time was a stunning water feature complete with rowing boat. There are even chook pens here, so you can live the self sustaining country life.
So what needs doing - well - a bit and some might say a lot - but having done these flips I think its all pretty manageable. The kitchen could use some work, the bathroom needs help (and a new window!) and the floors all need doing. The painting can be redone and new windows treatments will lift it again. So to summarise - reno the place - but I believe the price on this size land will support a 50k reno no problem at all and if you do it will be BRAND SPANKING new and just to your own taste. Lets think of it as a blank canvas that has the beginnings of a Rembrandt!
