The majority of the vineyard was planted in 2000 with some minor grafting in 2005. The total under vines is 14.71 hectares with the most sort after varieties planted. The vineyard is fully irrigated via dripper from an automatic system. The plantings are in rows 3.5 metres apart with 2 metre spacing. The vineyard produced 88 tons of premium fruit in 2014 with an average production of 70 tons approximately. The fruit is contracted on a yearly basis at the sellers request with the current fruit supply being negotiated with Leeuwin Estate and Xanadu. Being of premium quality fruit Cape Mentelle are previous buyers. In general the vineyard is one of the most well-presented and even vineyards that we have seen. Producing quality fruit always contracted. Current negotiations on contracts are available to serious potential buyers.
