Established some twenty years ago, Connolly is situated approximately twenty five kms north of Perth and only a couple of minutes drive from the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean. Housing is built on and around the world famous Joondalup Resort Golf Course and the several recreational park areas within the suburb. As well as the memorable and challenging golf that Australia's number one resort course has to offer, it also provides a quality hotel with functions, restaurant, bistro and the Kangaroo Arms, the local pub.
Wildlife is abundant in the area whether it is kangaroos on the golf course or parrots and the huge variety of other birds in the trees. Native shrubs and plants thrive and give Connolly that 'green' feeling.
The suburb has its own shopping centre which provides an array of quality services for all your daily needs and the major and expanding shopping centre at Lakeside is less than five minutes drive away. In fact, you do not have to travel very far for anything!
Connolly is served by several excellent educational establishments both at junior and senior level. Connolly junior school enjoys a fantastic reputation and is a major factor for the younger families who choose to move to the suburb.
