"Raymar" is located at the top of WA's Northern Wheatbelt in the Northampton Shire. The regional centre of Geraldton is 130kms (by road) to the south. The nearest CBH grain receival facility is 40kms west of the property, at Binnu. Northampton is the nearest town, being 80kms (by road) away.
"Raymar" is an excellent blend of moisture holding, easy working soil types, being Mallee loams and sand, as well as stronger York Gum country.
There is 1520ha (3755 acres) of arable land, with the necessary housing and infrastructure to carry out a grain growing enterprise. The infrastructure includes an 80 tonne fertilizer shed and 3 silos.
Water security is supplied by a diesel powered bore, which is reticulated around the property. The water is potable and used in the house.
An ongoing soil amelioration program is under way, with lime sand and gypsum applied (details available). Paddock records and soil analysis data are available on request.
The Binnu District is renowned as a grain growing powerhouse and is currently enjoying an excellent season, with it's productivity on display.
