For Lease - Selected Properties of 'Undarra Farms'
These adjoining and highly efficient cropping properties are located 20km* south of Mingenew and comprise of 6,555* arable hectares of predominantly stronger yellow & medium textured sandplain soils, as well as lesser areas red loam, sand over gravel, gravel loam and lighter sand.
'Wicks' (1220ha arable) - Strong to medium textured yellow sandplain, sand over gravel & lighter sand.
Cropping efficiency is the cornerstone of the broader aggregation, with AB lines commonly exceeding 3km on a flat to gently undulating landscape. According to Bureau of Meteorology records, the 10-year annual rainfall average is 436mm*, with growing season rainfall totals ranging from a high of 478mm in 2025, to a low of 198mm in 2019.
All properties have been meticulously farmed with the attention to detail evident in their presentation, nutrition strategies & the owners focus on soil amelioration. More specifically, all sandplain soils have been mouldboard ploughed with dolomite incorporation, sound phosphate and potassium rates are applied annually (including trace element applications) and modern chemistry is utilised for effective weed control. These factors all underpin strong production records for primarily wheat and canola.
The lease period is three years, commencing on or before 15th March 2026 and concluding on 31st December 2028. 'Lease by Tender' submissions are to be received no later than 5pm Wednesday 4th March 2026. The properties can be leased as a whole aggregation or as individual farms at the discretion of the Lessors.
The properties are being offered for lease to enable the owners to pursue interests outside of their farming business, however they will continue to actively farm a portion of their broader aggregation.
The owners look forward to appointing highly capable Lessee's who take a long-term view of farming, exhibit best practice management of their own businesses and who'll be sound custodians of these highly productive assets.
