Netherby is a rural township in north-west Victoria, near the northern limit of the Wimmera district. It is 25 km north of Nhill and 30 km west of Jeparit. The pub originally known as The Commercial opened in 1888, the building burned down in 1934 and was rebuilt on the same site. The name was changed to the Wheatsheaf Hotel in 1979 when Ian & Jill Lilley took over, the name still remains.
