I remember being a kid who grew up on a regular block in a normal suburban house in Kilsyth. I was lucky enough to go to Billanook College in Mooroolbark and plenty of my friends lived on nice big chunks of land near the College.
They had pools, huge living areas, motorbikes and endless places to run, hide, build cubby houses and just be kids. I would go to their places and have the time of my life and when it was all over I would go home to my average house on an average block. Now don't get me wrong, my place was fine but I so wanted the room to roam and play like some of my mates had.
It's like living in the country with trees and paddocks, horses and big sheds but when you jump in the car you're only a few minutes from shops, schools and transport.
