Steve Herbert MLC, CBRE is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest for the Glenormiston Campus Re-opening Project (Glenormiston), an iconic Australian educational institution and a substantial 283* hectare landholding located in the heart of the Western District of Victoria.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Glenormiston comprises six freehold Certificates of Title and features a diverse and extensive range of buildings and improvements, broadly categorised as follows:
- Main land parcel (200* hectares), comprising a number of distinct precincts, including:
*Central College / Historic Mansion Precinct - Comprising educational buildings (residential and teaching), heritage listed buildings such as the Glenormiston Homestead and landscaped gardens (approximately 20% of the main land parcel).
* Animal Husbandry / Supporting Agricultural Facilities Precinct - Includes a range of farming outbuildings and a residential dwelling (approximately 30% of the main land parcel).
- Dairy / Farmland Precinct - Balance of the main land parcel (approximately 50%) comprising grazing land.
- Northern land parcel - An 82* hectare landholding comprising grazing land, as well as a residential dwelling.
- Four Residential Dwellings - Four individual residential dwellings located south of Blacks Road near the main entrance of the property.
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
CBRE is inviting interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest for the Glenormiston Campus Re-opening Project by Wednesday 16 March 2016 at 5:00pm (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).
The principal objectives of the Expression of Interest are to:
- Select a party that will deliver education services on all or part of the Site;
- Ensure a connection between the education service and the use of the balance of the Site; and
- Ensure a sustainable education use for at least 10 years.
