Rowanston is also a contract winemaker for several other local wineries.
Rowanston consistently wins awards and gains high recognition in local and international wine shows, regularly exporting wine to China. All wine is made on site and the winemaking facility is currently equipped to handle 50 ton of grapes per annum plus scope to increase to 100 ton per annum.
Rowanston produces beef currently running 70 head of Angus Cows. The property is well fenced and equipped for cattle with modern cattle yards. The open grazing land is divided into six paddocks all with dams or water from Pohlman Creek which runs across the property from south to north. There are five dams and the property has never run out of water. There are also two excellent licensed bores. The property also has approximately 25 acres of leased unmade government roads and water frontage.
Approximately 220 acres of land is preserved as a nature reserve under the Victorian state government Bush Tender Program who have funded this preservation to keep the bush in a pristine natural state.
