This is your opportunity to secure a fantastic warehouse in the heart of Colac. Built in in 1948 for C.N. Raymond Pty Ltd to manufacture jewellery, medicine and stocking boxes. Since then the building has always been known as The Box Factory. The business closed in 1956 and as used for a short time for basketball.
In the early sixties, it was the temporary site for new Colac Technical School until the school moved to Hearn Street.

The State Electricity Commission of Victoria purchased the building in the late sixties using it as a base for the Engineering Department to service south western Victoria. The rear of the premises was used at the time for the staff social club. With the privatisation of SEC Victoria, the building was sold and has since been used as a warehouse for Target Australia.
