Ballan is only 80 kms (50 miles) from Melbourne and is really treated like an outer suburb by many of the locals. You can take the train to Melbourne and be there in just over an hour. There are 18 trains a day in each direction, giving the property extremely good public transport to Melbourne and Balllarat. The State Govt has announced they will be building a second platform at Ballan indicating the importance they are putting on the growth of the town. From Jan 2017 there will be an additional return train service via Ballarat to Maryborough in addition to the one that already exists.
The dome house is a marvellous property and I will be happy to show prospective purchasers through.
Even though it is on the edge of Ballan and has all the advantages of being able to walk into the town, it is zoned farmland. As such it is available to overseas buyers. Buy this property now and enjoy it for many years to come.
