The initial feeling is very welcoming, a house which is light and airy and has great views all around. An open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area leads to two generous bedrooms, one with built-in robes and storage space. The bathroom is a little dated, but still functional, and there is a separate toilet, accessible from both the bathroom and the laundry. The kitchen benches and cupboards are rather worn, but there is a nearly new free-standing oven with a ceramic cook-top. The lounge has an air-conditioner, a separate split-system, ceiling fan and solid-fuel heater. The vinyl and carpet floor-coverings could do with some work, but beneath them are solid floorboards which were originally polished and which would, with a little work, come up a treat.
The outside of the property is very clean and bright, with exterior blinds on the rear and side windows to protect the house from the summer sun, and there is plenty of storage space under the house. The house is set on a fully fenced block of some 892 square meters, with street access at the front and a lane providing access to the rear. It is only a short walk to the centre of town and the shopping precinct. Well established gardens, with a drip-feed watering system, are complemented by an area laid out for a vegetable garden, which just needs a little weeding to be fully functional.
