On arriving at the entrance gate at the bottom, the driveway is an all weather 2 wheel drive access that winds up through the tall gums and pops out at the house site like an island in the sun. A solid shed with lovely old timber barn doors is ideal for the car and plenty of room left over for the workshop and extra storage. The house consists of a large open plan living area with a kitchen at one end and a lovely spot to sit back with a good book at the other. The kitchen and main living enjoy the amazing views with French doors that open out to the covered deck verandah. Above the kitchen is another interesting space which is located within the distinct pointed roof section of the house. Although this could be a small bedroom, it has a built in bench with windows out over the gorgeous views and would make a fabulous room for getting the creative juices going. Write a book, paint the view or do your yoga. On the ground level, the bathroom incorporates the laundry too and is where the environmental composting loo is.
