This classic cottage 'Circa 1852' (not Heritage listed) was the original School House and is referred to in the history books as Mound Cottage, possibly relating to its raised position, no doubt to view the boats plying trade in the area.
I have yet to view the large high roof area via the manhole in the main bathroom, but I have been informed it has beams like a ship, so it may be interesting to consider upwards for extra room.
The lovely cottage has a large sunroom/dining area facing the views. The kitchen features timber and is complete with a dishwasher, breakfast bar and a large Chef's electric oven with six gas cook tops.
