BLACK BOBS BLOCK
The famous settlement of Black Bobs is situated 9 kilometres the Hobart side of the pretty Hydro town of Wayatinah. It is close to Wayatinah Lagoon as well as being 15-30 minutes drive from all the Bronte lakes. It is a warm, sheltered block, being just South of the Central Highlands plateau at low altitude. There is 600metres approx. of the Black Bobs Rivulet on the western boundary and the trees along the bank protect the flat area from the prevailing wind. About 5ha is a clear marsh with sags and native grasses. The remainder is quite dense native forest with some commercial timber. Build a getaway or set up camp on the edge of the Lake Country and only about an hour and 20minutes from Hobart.
