Located at the Lake side of this stunning Heritage village, and surrounded by immaculate gardens on almost an acre of land, is one of the beautiful Georgian Era homes this area is famous for. It was built in 1875 from beautifully dressed Sandstone by the town's resident Stonemason. The current owners have spent over 18 years restoring and expanding the original cottage including converting the adjoining shopfront to a spacious main bedroom with ensuite.

The original cottage area now has a formal dining room, with double fireplace which backs onto the second bedroom; a gorgeous sitting room, also with a double fireplace onto the lovely kitchen. The kitchen fireplace has the original cooking crane for kettle and pots. It now boasts a 900mm gas/electric stove, granite benchtop and all modern conveniences while retaining the period atmosphere.

At the back of the cottage is the third bedroom, main bathroom and second sitting room/kitchenette/laundry making this a perfect guest area. This area opens up to a paved courtyard with paths winding through the formal gardens. The stone pathways have been formed from the remains of an old Stable barn that was on the property.
