The Kangaroo Mission Church was built just below the opposite Lady Franklin Museum near a rippling trout filled stream, a popular picnic spot. It was named St Bede's when located at New Town.
Services were offered at St Bede's from then until 2008. Thankfully, it is still here and well maintained, providing a beautiful living and working space, as well as, a charming, historic feature to the neighbourhood.
