Approximately 80% of this productive dairy land lies to the north whilst the balance is south facing. The highest ground is red basalt soil and has been cropped by a previous owner. The bulk of the soils are heavy loams to loam over clay, which support well established pastures. Ryegrass and clover dominate the species. Annual fertiliser application totals 250 kilograms per hectare. There are 17 paddocks, fenced in conventional barb and plain wire. Most have an outrigger, which is electrified. A selection of paddocks are locked up in spring for hay and silage production annually.
