'Glenalbyn' being 846 hectares on 10 titles is a well known, safe and productive grazing property once carrying up to 600 cows. Currently some 600 hectares is under hardwood plantation due to be harvested in the near future.
Deep alluvial soils run along the length of the property beside the Apsley River to which it has some 3km of frontage. There is great potential for broad acre irrigation development or even for a vineyard etc. if a water right could be secured from the river. 'Glenalbyn' is just 3km from the ocean on the road to the Douglas Apsley National Park.
Only very rarely does the chance to secure a large parcel of East Coast land come up. The interest in Tasmania and its produce is increasing year on year and now is the chance to purchase a property to cater for that demand.
