Positioned right on the edge of the waterfront reserve of Abels Bay, this Mediterranean inspired villa is something a little bit special. Located within a small community of homes consisting of both holiday homes and permanents, this area is very peaceful and relaxing. This villa is in great condition and very comfortable. The double brick construction and excellent insulation with double glazed windows, assist with seamless temperature control. The lounge has a lovely wood fire, keeping you nice and snug in the cooler months and a reverse cycle air-conditioner keeps you comfortable all year round.
Set on 2 levels, the main living, dining and kitchen all have fantastic views straight out to the bay through large picture windows. One of the bedrooms downstairs also has a direct view over the water. There are 3 bedrooms all up, one is on the upper level with the main bathroom and the other 2 are on the lower level with a the benefit of a second toilet. Access to the covered balcony is from the main lounge. This is a superb spot to sit back and ponder the views with a relaxing drink or wind away the hours with a good book. Start pre dinner drinks on the balcony, and then migrate out the back to where another covered entertaining area is ideal to accommodate friends and family for a BBQ well into the evening.
There is internal access to the garage underneath that leads straight out to the waterfront reserve, making it an ideal place to store the boat, the kayaks and fishing gear. You can launch all of these from directly in front and just a bit further along there is a small jetty too. The shores of the bay are ideal for that morning or evening stroll. Further along is a little beach and there are rocks to climb and explore. The bay is boating and fishing heaven. Just around the corner is Port Cygnet Bay and the other way leads out to the Huon River estuary. You are very likely to bump into seals and dolphins out in these waters. Maybe moor a bigger boat in the bay out front and explore further out across to Bruny Island.
