Following the construction of the boy???s school next door in 1862 the building was used as a young ladies boarding school up and until 1875, after which it became a private residence.
This Heritage Listed Buckland House is a maze of varying floor levels, various construction types including pug, brick and slate and enjoys numerous interesting nooks and crannies including the cellar room which is still complete with its original baker???s oven.
