Vendors Marvellous Points of interest
Our home was built with such love and passion.
We designed a home that brought two families together, with special care put into catering for all age groups.
We moved in 5 years ago and after all this time there is not one thing we would change, everything has lived up to our initial expectations.
Many people, both trades and visitors alike, have commented that the home has been designed and built with incredible attention to detail. This was executed during the build under the direct supervision of Danny Scinto at Eastern Building Group.
Just a few of the stunning major features of the home must be the extensive spotted gum timber floors, our gorgeous one off custom made copper water feature, floor to ceiling tiling in all bathrooms, the Walls Bros high-end cabinetry finished in two pack (white and metallic) paint, soft closing drawers with no handles and our one of a kind bathroom including three basins which we have never seen in any other house design.
Cooking is one of our foremost joys in life and the kitchen (or should I say kitchens!!) has given us that perfect blend of being able to prepare family meals together in an intimate environment or cater for large parties.
This is serviced by built in Miele dishwasher, SMEG induction cooktop, 90cm oven, microwave and a concealed fridge. There is an abundance of bench space that couples with a matching splash back which flows through to the alfresco.
Our families love of outside living is evident in how the main living area flows through to the alfresco.
The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped for family meals or entertaining large groups of friends with built in gas Electrolux BBQ, Beefeater Rangehood, bar fridge and large sink.
The north facing back garden is everyone's dream as the alfresco is completely shaded throughout summer but allows the beautiful winter sun in during the colder months.
The two large Platinum Bromic gas heaters under the Alfresco also extends outside living into these cooler times of the year.
This area is also serviced by four stainless steel fans to keep cool in summer.
The alfresco looks over our beautiful 9 x 4 meter, fully tiled concrete pool which also includes a huge umbrella for shade on those hot summer days.
Another main feature of the house design was to ensure that there was direct access to the children's bathroom so that they do not have to walk through the house when wet.
The main bedroom has the advantage of being at the rear of the home which overlooks the pool area and our beautiful water feature.
A sliding door gives you easy access to these areas.
We are an extremely busy family and made sure that the home was designed to save as much maintenance time as possible.
This includes choosing the modern contemporary look of no handles on all drawers and abundant storage cupboards.
Also, no glass shower screens for the alcoves which saves an incredible amount of time and heart ache in keeping clean.
The gardens are very low maintenance with all plants and lawn on automatic watering systems.
This is just a few of the features that we loved.
The home has been a big part of our lives, from the initial design, construction, then the final touches.
We have enjoyed many large family occasions here, such as a wedding, 50th, 21st, two 18ths, Christmas's and many other celebrations.
This home has been made for great family memories and it gives us great joy that it will continue for years to come.
