There are three tanks for rain water, a bio waste water system and instant gas hot water system.

The house has two bedrooms and an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. All rooms open on to the veranda with full length plate glass doors. The master bedroom is 7m x 5m plus a bathroom/laundry and separate vanity area and walk in robe. The second bedroom is 5m x 5m plus ensuite and walk in robe. The kitchen has gas cook top, electric oven, dishwasher and large pantry.

All bathrooms and kitchen areas are tiled with floating timber floor in lounge/dining and bedrooms.

Reverse cycle air conditioners and ceiling fans in all rooms and the house is fully insulated in roof and walls.

The house fronts Main North Road with property access from the rear in Murray Street via a gravel drive.

Grounds have been planted out with Jacarandas, crepe myrtles, bottle brush and other natives and there is abundant bird life.

The township of Stone Hut is a small community of about 26 people with all the advantages of a quiet scenic rural setting yet only 8kms from the nearest townships of Laura and Wirrabara to the South and North respectively. Laura boasts a hospital, chemist, newsagency, IGA store, cafes, hotel, hairdresser, newsagency, post office, petrol and vehicle service, farm service, hardware store, primary school.

There is a high school a little further south in Gladstone and Port Pirie is about 50kms to the west where all major stores and services are located. Jamestown is about 38kms to the east and also offers schools,shopping & hospital.
