Last Listing description (October 2018)

I was built in 1972 and when I was only 6 years old, my current owners moved in. We've had a wonderful 40 years together. Their children were raised under my roof and have now moved on to have their own families. So many memories. Throughout the 40 years my owners have lived here, they've been very kind to me indeed. Whenever there was an issue, or some maintenance required, they were straight onto it. The gardens have been cared for throughout their time here too. The lovely lawns, front and back are just perfect for kids to play in and really easy for my owners to look after. With a variety of shrubs being planted over the years both the front and rear yards are a perfect place in which to sit and read a book or to entertain in. Just lovely, especially with the high fence at the front. So private. I've got beautiful polished floors in the living areas and soft carpets in the 3 bedrooms. The lounge room is very spacious and could easily double as a lounge plus dining room but if you'd prefer, there's a perfect spot for the dining table, just off the kitchen. At warmer times of the year, my owners prefer to dine in the alfresco area, accessed through large, double glass doors off the dining area. It's really sheltered and if the breeze is a bit fresh, the cafe blinds come down and the area is perfect, once again. The kitchen's very functional and received an up-grade not that long ago. There's a very efficient gas, space heater for winter whilst the evaporative cooling is just great for summer. All the gardening tools and bits and pieces are safely stored in the garage at the rear whilst the car sits very comfortably, behind the panel lift door, in the car port. It's a somewhat regretful move for my owners but time marches on and they are retiring to a new home, not far away so now I'm waiting for a new owner to move in. It would be perfect for a young family to once again live here or perhaps a couple with a dog and cat. It would be just perfect. With everything you need nearby such as schools and good shopping, you'll never need to go far to do the weekly shop. Wonderful Queen Street, at West Croydon, is a short walk away and you'll love exploring all the trendy eateries and coffee spots there. If you work in the City, the train stop isn't far to walk to or perhaps you'd prefer to drive the short distance to the Entertainment Centre and jump on the tram. You're really spoilt for options here. I'm being offered for sale by way of Auction as it's very important that I sell. My owners, as mentioned earlier, have bought a new home so my sale is absolutely genuine indeed. Talk to the Agent about the terms of the auction as I believe the deposit and settlement period are flexible so I'm sure we'll be able to match in with a particular date, if you need too. I'll offer you an experience that is so much more than just viewing a dozen or so photographs. Contact me if you'd like your home marketed in this manner.
