Downstairs is a large bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and a walk-in robe, while upstairs you will find a double room plus the expansive master bedroom. With a queen-size bed, the master is made for relaxation, with lovely French doors opening onto the balcony, a ceiling fan for summer, and the extended flue from the downstairs wood heater to keep you warm in the cooler months.
Conveniently for a large family or group, the downstairs bathroom stretches over two separate rooms - one has a vanity and shower and the other contains a toilet, vanity and a luxuriously large claw-foot bath - perfect to relax in with a glass of local wine. There is a second toilet upstairs.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, including coffee plungers to kick start your day, a dishwasher, microwave and full electric oven and cooktop, plus there is a fully functioning laundry with washing machine and dryer.
The living and dining area with a large dining table and two comfy couches will become your home away from home. In winter you can enjoy the delightful ambience of a wood fire and in the warmer weather simply open the charming French doors and step out onto the deck to feel the cooling sea breeze. You may choose to dine alfresco by taking advantage of the outdoor setting and barbecue.
Around 45 minutes from Adelaide, Aldinga Beach is an excellent spot for swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving, and is one of the few beaches where cars are allowed to drive on parts of the sand. The Hide Away is also ideally located for holiday-makers who want to make the most of the excellent wining and dining options and other attractions of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
But if you'd rather cosy up inside, there's plenty to keep you entertained, including a flat-screen TV with built in DVD player (some DVDs available), board games such as chess and dominoes, books, a CD player and a digital radio.
Come and relax in this beautiful home or discover this district which is full of surprises. It's close for day trip drive down the Fleurieu Peninsula, to the McLaren Vale Wineries & restaurants or Goolwa via Port Elliot or Victor Harbor. Even Kangaroo Island isn't far away.
