Accommodation consists of the main bedroom and bathroom upstairs and small second bedroom/study, kitchen and living areas downstairs. Large glass sliding doors lead from the living areas to a private deck/courtyard perfect for BBQs and outdoor living. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning upstairs and down and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living areas.

There are built in wardrobes in both bedrooms, a big storage area under the stairs and plenty of room in the garage for extra storage. The laundry (with tub) is in a built in cupboard downstairs and the back door leads to a drying deck with washing line.

A single lock up garage with automatic door and direct house access is a godsend in an area with metered parking. Having said that, Lego House is so central and handy for local amenities and transport you don't really need a car. The Brisbane Airport to Gold Coast train line stops at nearby Park Road station and the Mater Hill and Woolloongabba bus stations are a short walk.

Lego House is a stand alone, fully self contained unit built at the end of the garden of 24 Heaslop Street. Access is from Merton Road (opposite Peterson Street) and Lego House, it's deck and landscaped, courtyard garden are all private and for the exclusive use of Lego House.

Known locally as Woolloongabba Hill our friendly neighbourhood is full of character with beautiful old Queenslander homes. There's even a Community Garden up the road.

Just about everything you might need is within a 5 to 10 minute walk including a Coles Supermarket, Post Office, bottle shop, pharmacy, 24 hour gyms, lots of bicycle shops (some with coffee!), cafes, bars and restaurants. Many of which are housed in lovely old buildings in the Woollongabba Precinct (an eclectic up and coming area) and the more established Logan Road Dining Precinct.

For cricket fans, the famous Gabba cricket ground is a ten-minute walk.

Woolloongabba is fast becoming the place to live close to the city with new transport links (cycle ways and new metro), mixed use developments, parklands and pedestrian walkways planned. Lego house is perfectly situated to take advantage of everything on offer but removed enough for privacy and quiet.

Walk or cycle to South Bank and the Cultural Centre, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane City, West End, the University of Queensland, Ecosciences precinct, Boggo Road, the Mater and PA hospitals, and Queensland Children's Hospital.
