Last Listing description (July 2026)

This hobby farm is fully established and has been developed with great care and consideration over the years by the current owners. If you are looking for a great hobby farm where you can escape the urban life and retreat to a beautiful totally private rural environment then this is for you. Ideal for the retiring farmer who is looking to move to the Sunshine Coast and yet still wants to enjoy the rural lifestyle.

The farm has an area of 12.17 Ha or 30 acres, with approximately 20 acres cleared!

There are two entrances - one off Hamilton Road and the other off Christensens Road. Both entrances have electric gates and have a fully sealed asphalt driveway that meanders through beautiful natural bushland leading to the main farm area.

There are four paddocks - the main dam paddock which is approximately 12 acres in area, has an 8-meter-deep dam that pumps water to two 25,000 -litre holding tanks which in turn, is piped around the farm for irrigation and watering of livestock. The small paddock adjacent to the dam paddock has an area of approximately 3 acres plus there is the orchard paddock located on the other side of the cattle yards and the rear paddock. All paddocks have excellent coastal pastures for both cattle and horses.

The cattle yards are located on the ridge between the paddocks allowing for easy cattle management. The yard consists of a small holding pen that leads to a crush and loading ramp.

A newly built indoor arena that measures 60 x 21 meters, is connected to underground power and has a sprinkler system to ensure that the sand remains firm. If you are not planning to have horses then this arena can easily be utilised for the storage of large machinery, caravans or boats.

A new high clearance vehicle shed - 12 x 12m, has a concrete floor, LED lighting and 4 sliding doors to allow maximum entrance width.

A shipping container with a covering roof gives the property a secure tack room and more storage.

The chicken coop with chickens gives a good supply of fresh eggs daily.

The citrus orchard is fully established and each tree is watered by an automatic reticulation system ensuring that the trees are laden with fruit. There are Valencia and Washington oranges, ruby red grapefruit, limes, Emperor mandarins and Meyer lemons. Other fruits located on the farm are passionfruit, macadamia, avocado, five-star fruit, mulberry, pawpaw and bananas.

Excellent boundary and internal fencing are present throughout the property.

The 13.5m x 14m main shed has one 3.6m high clearance roller door and two drive-through 3m roller doors with a workshop and storage shelving. Water is obtained from three 22,000 litre rainwater tanks.

The farm machinery carport shed is located close by. This drive through shed 20.5m in length and 4.7m wide has a crusher dust floor with power and water connected. The high clearance allows the storage of all farm machinery.

The farm residence consists of two-bedrooms on the ground floor plus a 2-bedroom retreat, one bathroom and two extra toilets, set over two levels. Both levels are airconditioned. There is a comfortable lounge area which overlooks the farm, with a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor entertaining / BBQ area with a fire pit makes it ideal for entertaining in either summer or winter.

The "caretaker's" residence, located adjacent to the orchid, is a "Tiny Home" that consists of a kitchen, bedroom, lounge, bathroom and balcony all set under a large roofed area giving excellent coolness and protection from the rain. It is fully established with a bitumen driveway, parking area, carport and is airconditioned throughout, making it a very comfortable and liveable residence.

Located on a small ridge, the farm captures cool breezes even on the hottest summer days and offers excellent views of the Blackall Ranges. There is no flooding on the property and no wet feet for the animals.

Power is all underground with solar on the roof.

One of the great features of this farm is its central location to the coast's towns and commercial areas. No need for a lengthy drive to pick up your Friday night pizza.

Palmwoods is only a 7-minute drive and Nambour is a 9-minute drive, while Maroochydore CBD is only 22 km or a 30-minute drive away. Popular Noosa beach is only 50 minutes away.

When you inspect this property, you will be instantly impressed by the beauty, the privacy and security on offer. The residences, sheds, fencing and other infrastructure have been constructed to the highest building standards.

It really is the best hobby farm on the coast!
