Each unit has been situated so that its living spaces take maximum advantage of the site's north/south orientation, with generous openings and decks to draw in breezes and natural light.
Externally, the building combines screening, shading and a range of fa ade treatments to provide visual interest. Its simple geometry is gradually broken down into smaller frames and asymmetric horizontal elements which serve to visually widen the building. The top level has been designed to appear hidden from street view. Neutral colours and textures have been included, allowing a vibrant feature colour to 'pop', thus highlighting the building as a local landmark.
