The desire to construct a significant residence on private acreage in close proximity to the coast partnered with the capacity to build to an uncompromising standard has created a home that would not be out of place anywhere in the world.
Architect Richard Kirk and master builder Jason Nielsen have created an inspiring home, there is a great emphasis on quality materials, with a shared commitment between the Client and Architect to produce a residence that will age and improve over time.

The central living room is a gallery of light with double story wall of glass to the facing due north with breathtaking views of the south-west rock face of mount Tinbeerwah. Canadian hemlock, rosewood timbers and glass engage with the tactile nature of travertine underfoot.
Residing on 33 hectares (81 acres) the majesty of the site has been retained and it remains as one of the largest parcels of land in Tinbeerwah, providing both exclusivity and complete privacy. Large tracts of level workable land is broken up by streams, dams, rain forest and large eucalypts.
A central kitchen continues the dedication to timber with bespoke cabinetry offset by stone bench tops. As expected, a full suite of Miele appliances are included with integrated fridges and dishwasher.
Separated from the guest wing by a vast living space, the master suite is generously proportioned with retreat, luxurious ensuite and study nook, all embracing long views towards Mt Tinbeerwah. One of the many separate entrances leads to a self-contained media room or forth bedroom complete with kitchenette, walk in robe and ensuite while above two further bedrooms also include private ensuites.
Such committed architecture is rarely witnessed as can be seen in architect Richard Kirk's beautiful creation which must be experienced to understand its magnificence.
