Last Listing description (November 2018)

If you want to buy into a residential strata title nightmare, then this property is the answer!
Top pick of the apartment features has been the roof water which poured into the ceilings and walls of this apartment in 2017 and 2018. This brand new apartment features 4 bedrooms with ceilings, walls and floor coverings removed due to the water ingress and dangerous black mould.
The view is fantastic but make sure to stay inside, as undescribed building works have been going on for months above, and will go on indefinitely into the future. Even once the jackhammers stop, you will continue to experience the extra gritty finish to the balcony tiles where building dust and other debris is like living in a quarry at home.

The owner can confirm that the concierge services offered are nil at this location as advised in writing by the Hotel management. Not to mention the lift priority!
When you own at The Johnson Apartments you will learn all about embedded networks for utilities connection. Only one provider for energy is available, and there is no internet provider of choice. In a de-regulated market these site specific utility restrictions, uniquely overpriced as they are, round out the features of the apartment.
Apart from the mould and the no air supply (taped off HVAC vents due to the mould), you will otherwise be physically safe inside Apartment 1510 as the locks have been changed. This is a key sales feature for this apartment as it was stated at the body corporate meeting in June 2018 that the master key for the entire complex was not provided on commissioning of the building.
Even though Apartment 1510 is uninhabitable, there are other excellent parts of the development you might like to enjoy. If you can struggle your way past the cleaners trolleys and stinking laundry in the hallways and foyers, you might try to feel the serenity down on the pool deck, so long as you bring a wetsuit for the unheated pool and youre not in a wheelchair because there are no facilities for you! And remember, in the pool pavilion which seats up to 20 people, only 6 people of any one group can gather, so you pay the cleaners to clean it without really being able to use it for family gatherings.
But theres the city lights at night which youve paid millions for! Youll be sharing your place in the sky with whatever unlawful function is booked in the apartment above.
In the words of the developer, Jonathan Deague:
The Johnson is a unique and never-before-seen concept in the Brisbane market, a multipurpose building combining the benefits of living in a luxury hotel with the comfort and space of a home, Mr Deague said.
We believe the penthouses set a new benchmark in Brisbane living and it is our view that buyers will see the value of this investment.
The bargain price listed reflects the owners costs to date, and the property is offered for sale on an as is basis.
It will only take one buyer!
