With easy access in and out, having alternate routes to access the property through the town, or through the back roads that go through to Woombye and Palmwoods - it s great to drive the kids to school through the back roads that go through beautiful rural settings. I appreciate the scenery every day. It s much nicer than driving through city traffic
The peace and quiet and waking to the sound of birds is wonderful.
I love the kookaburras and many species of birds we see and hear around the property, the visits from the bush turkeys and occasionally an echidna or two.
I love looking out the windows and seeing trees and greenery rather than houses. There is farmland all around us that will never be built out and cows wander on that property. I often hang up the washing having a chat to the cows at the fence watching me.
It s great having family bbq s with all the kids running around the property, roasting marshmallows in a bonfire down by the creek and kids playing spotlight in the paddock
I have enjoyed having different areas/spaces for different purposes in the house. It has been good that there s room for a number of cars in our driveway and on the property and that the driveway has good visibility along the road for entering and exiting the property.
My favourite spot is lying in a hammock under the big fig tree with a gentle breeze blowing and the sun scattering through the leaves.
I like that it s very quiet and peaceful but still only 3 minutes drive into town. It has been a great place to live and has been a great place for kids. It will be sad to leave.
