'I have always described Ross Cottage as a house that hugged you with warmth when you arrived home each day. It started a new phase in our lives and brought many immensely happy family memories..
And new beginnings our marriage, our two babies home from hospital. It became a house full of family, love and laughter. Backyard trampoline fun, cubby houses, and lying on the grass in the sunshine amongst the garden in the backyard. The growing of our little family quickly took hold and saw our oldest off to his first day at school just down the road at Milton State School.
Being so close to the city with all the wonderful cafes and restaurants it always amazed us from day one just how quiet and peaceful it was. Waking up to the birds singing, enjoying the tranquility of the back deck entertaining friends and quiet moments on my grandfathers squatters chair with baby in arms, enjoying an afternoon coffee.
