This large farmhouse sits high on the bank of a beautiful lagoon. The home is made up of three sections. The central part of the house is an old Queenslander which is approximately more than 120 years old, being the original Cardwell courthouse. It was relocated to the lagoon (called by him Crescent lagoon) before 1900, by the property owner.

The second section was added in the 1970's when the first section was re roofed and restumped with concrete and steel. This section is a large 30ft x 30ft slab room of brick and timber with kitchenette.

The third section was built in the 1990's extending the old kitchen to provide a large dining/living room and same level toilet and bathroom.

Features of the historic central rooms are beautiful and strong tongue and groove walls and ceilings, red cedar French doors, white beech wooden floors and modern split system air-conditioning.
