Main House
The main house consists of an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, with a wood fire to the lounge, two built in electric ovens, a five-ring gas cook-top, and dishwasher to the kitchen. The kitchen was renovated in 2022.

There are three bedrooms, and dedicated office space. Bedroom two has a built-in wardrobe, and bedrooms one and two have reverse cycle air con.
Floor coverings were replaced in 2022, apart from the original slate tiles to the kitchen and bathroom.

The main house has verandahs to three sides with an under-roof carport to the fourth.

The main house also has a 6.2 inverter 18 panel solar power system which services the whole property. The system was installed in 2022.

Barn
A separate split level American style studio barn the same age as the house, comprises of an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, and bathroom/shower with Natures Head composting toilet and full vanity. The Barn sits towards the front of the property, and the driveway is fully bituminised. The barn also houses a single lock up garage/work shed/storage space, with an undercover carport to the side. It is powered by electricity, which taps into the solar power during daylight hours, and has its own full size hot water system.
The spacious bedroom is in the loft area. The Barn makes a great separate retreat space for your visitors.

Utilities
Town water and power to the property. Underground power and water also service the back of the acreage where there is a cleared flat area amongst the trees suitable for your caravan.

Gardens
We have developed various garden areas around the house and barn and have kept the natural lightly wooded areas. The gardens between the house and the barn space give the spaces privacy. The side garden has a small chook area and combined woodshed. There is also a larger chook structure which could be returned to its original function of shaded vegetable growing space. There are two large recycled, raised veggie beds and a variety of tropical fruit trees to the kitchen garden. The dam which is aside of the kitchen veggie area, attracts seasonal migrating birds and homes three farm Pekin ducks, one male and two female.

Local Amenities
We are situated 9kms from our local township of Ravenshoe. Ravenshoe has medical services, two IGA's, two pubs, post office, excellent bakery, unique shops and community services, a Catholic School, a State School and long day childcare. Ravenshoe also has various buildings to hire for functions, an RSL, Golf Club, Bowls Club, a community operated Respite Centre for our elderly offering inhouse activities and trips out across the Tablelands. For those enjoying gardening and growing their own food, we have a vibrant seed-savers group, and a local Mans Shed.
