My wife and I are selling our 5th floor studio unit at the Sunshine Coast Surfair Marcoola beachside resort. We have permanently lived in our unit for the past 3 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. We are moving to the country for a few years just for a change. The unit is all ready to go for immediate sale.
Our unit is literally right near the beach as you can see by the photos, just a 50m walk to the sand.

Our large studio apartment is partly furnished and ready for you to enjoy all year round. Put up your feet by the heated pool, sipping on a cocktail or coffee from the ground floor bar, take a morning stroll along the beach, and dine poolside from the great food offerings while listening to the sound of the surf roll in.
Our unit faces west so we have great sunsets in the evening and a great view of the mountains especially as we are on the 5th floor of the complex. (Note: the 6th (top) floor is the penthouse that takes up the entire level.)
Our unit is one of the larger studios in this Tower, so it has been plenty enough room for my wife and I to live in quite comfortably.
My wife loves her long walks on the beach but personally, I don't like walking so I regularly surf or ride my bike on the many bike tracks just meters away from our complex, or I do lap swimming in the large complex pool.
We generally prepare light meals in our unit; as there are no permanent kitchens in most of the studio units. This has never bothered us as there is a great restaurant on the ground level and many shops just over the road.
The unit has a separate bathroom, large living and sleeping area and private balcony. There is a wall mounted TV, queen size bed, small dining table and chairs, and balcony table with chairs.
The unit has ducted air-conditioning, so it's nice and cool for the summer months.
The Ramada reception on the ground floor, is serviced from 7am to 9pm and after that, an onsite security guard is here through the night; so it is a good secure place to live.
There is an onsite laundry very handy on our 5th level floor.
There is an underground parking bay for the units; and further parking on the grounds.
Surfair offers perfect resort facilities with a huge lagoon pool (heated), gymnasium, day spa, restaurants, bar, TAB, conference facilities and other entertainment facilities.
The Surfair Beach Hotel on ground level offers casual dining in the Bistro, plus a Sports Bar and gaming lounge. https://surfairbeachhotel.com.au
Units Info:
There are just over 80 units in the Surfair Central Tower.
The owners have contracted the maintenance of the Tower to Ramada who look after the grounds and run their letting pool through the reception area (that operates in the Tower entry).
Just over 40 owners have their units in the Ramada letting pool, who handles the letting of their units. This being quite convenient for them as they earn a passive income, and also use their unit for short stays themselves.
We have up to 20 permanent owners living here in the Central Tower and a number have been here for up to 10 years or so.
The remaining 20 are owners using their units for holidays or short permanent stays as they wish.
Some owners Airbnb their units; I have talked to a number of them and it seems the occupancy is high. Some have a key lockbox on their unit door for easy access for quests.
There is underground parking for all unit owners or quests.
So you can either permanently live here, use as a great holiday getaway, Airbnb, or be part of the Ramada letting pool - so a number of options are available.
Unit Costs:
We pay our levies quarterly.
Our weekly body corporate levy is around $130 a week or $1600 a quarter. (This fee includes unlimited power for unit, Foxtel, and unlimited access to the pool and gym).
The half yearly rates are $980.
Water is around $280 a quarter.

If you would like further info, to book an inspection, or to make an offer over $185,000 please contact me by email.
King Regards
Dan and Cheryl
