As part of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council s 2016 building renewal project, the Scenic Reserve Caf is part of an extensive investment in this much loved and visited Maleny landmark, and will be complemented by a full suite of improvements aimed at increasing visitor numbers, that already exceed 200,000 per year.
The Scenic Reserve Caf will consist of a blend of indoor (163m2) and alfresco seating (120m2), a service and counter area (20m2), cold room (5.3m2) and a commercial kitchen (42m2). Operating seven days a week from 9:00 to 4:00pm, it will provide a relaxed space for visitors to dine that complements the stunning natural environment, and caters for diverse dietary needs as well as a range of visitors, both national and international. Food will be sourced locally (wherever possible) with the emphasis on showcasing fresh natural produce from our region.
