This is not the case for guests who stay at Lucinda Fishing Lodge. We can help you get started talking to you about our local area, how to get in and out of the channel and fishing tips if required. We are more than happy to give some information to get you started as we want you to enjoy your stay, have some fun and catch some nice fish, whether it be that trophy GT for the picture of a lifetime, the Famous Hinchinbrook Grunter, the thrill of hooking the elusive Barramundi or catching a nice coral trout out at the reef.Lucinda Fishing Lodge is located at the Southern end of the Hinchinbrook Channel which offers huge areas of protected water in most types of weather with thousands of fishing spots.You can leave your boat on the private pontoon which is exclusive to Lucinda Fishing Lodge guests or you can choose to leave your boat on the trailer with plenty of onsite parking.We are less than 200 metres from the Dungeness public boat ramp which is a 4 lane concrete ramp. There is a public boat wash facility in the boat ramp area.Lucinda Fishing Lodge also supplies a fish filleting area which is exclusive to Lucinda Fishing Lodge guests.There is nothing more we love, than to see the photos or hear the fishing stories of the big catch or the one that got away, because at Lucinda Fishing Lodge we are all about promoting recreational fishing.So come along and stay with us and if you enjoy fishing, we are sure you will love it here as much as we do.
