Our gorgeous cottage is well positioned in a quiet area in beautiful Riverside Gardens that is opposite parkland and walking tracks that lead to the peaceful Ross River. It is within walking distance to the Townsville General Hospital (1.1km), James Cook University (1.3km). It is also very close to Ross River Walking and bike tracks, children's playground, BBQ facilities, tennis courts, supermarkets, medical centre, cafes, Riverside Tavern and a number of fast food outlets and much more.
Our little cottage gives a calm and peaceful feeling as soon as you walk inside. From the front verandah and dining room you can relax with a cuppa or nice book while enjoying the peaceful forest and Mountain View. The large windows and doors give the cottage a bright and airy feeling with lots of light and breeze all year round. During the hotter months, the large air-conditioner in the living area cools the whole cottage down in minutes. There are no carpets or stairs inside and the easy maintenance makes the cottage perfect for busy couples, elderly and allergy sufferers.
This fully air-conditioned three bedroom cottage was built in 1999 and was renovated in 2013, with split air-conditioning in all rooms, new stove, bamboo floor in bedrooms, freshly painted and new lighting. The spacious open planned lounge and dining area has plenty room for all your day to day furniture. There are built in cupboards to two bedrooms with a 2 way bathroom from the main, the main also has a walk through robe. All the bedrooms have beautiful bamboo floor and the rest of the house is fully tiled. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, having plenty of cupboard and bench space for a property of this size.
