The newly completed Burpengary High School is within easy walking distance, as are bus and train services. The motorway (State Highway 1) is less than a kilometre to the East. Plus the motorway will get you to Brisbane Airport in around 30 minutes off peak (once the Gateway Motorway upgrade is complete next year that time will likely reduce to around 20 minutes).
Where to go for the weekend or public holidays? Forget the traffic jams that you inevitably get closer into Brisbane and get on the free flowing highway north to Bribie Island (less than 30kms) or the Sunshine Coast (50kms) or an easy 45 min drive through some truly beautiful farm land to Maleny/Montville.
