The original land that the property sits upon was purchased by Patrick Carroll in 1863. The house was built in 1910 by Mr Waugh who was a blacksmith and worked from the property. Annie George was the last surviving daughter of the owner, and she lived in the house until her death in approximately 1997. Present owners are the second non- original family members to live in the house.
