Park the car and walk to the gift stores, boutiques, grocery stores or cafes, bars and restaurants in Yamba's Main Street, less than 500m away, or take in a meal and entertainment at the Golf or Bowling Clubs. For those rainy or lazy days, you could catch at movie at Yamba Cinema which is also located just above the main street in Yamba. It is all so close. Exploring the wonders of the Clarence Valley is a must whilst you are visiting. Maclean is a short 20 minute drive away from Yamba, and has wonderful ethnic Scottish elements for visitors to explore, including tartan painted power poles, recipes for traditional scottish feast displayed in the main street, the Scottish Shop, plus plenty of bagpipes. Iluka is accessible by car, 45-50 mins, or take the ferry from the end of River St and cruise across to Iluka, and wander up Iluka's main street towards cafes, gift stores, the Bowling Club,Sedgers Reef Hotel and the Fishermans Co-op.

Major towns of Ballina and Grafton are within an hour's drive, both with airports, larger shopping facilities.
