Built in 1892 by Dr Robert Rygate this magnificent home has all the charm of yesteryear with today's modern conveniences. The name on the front is 'Hail-lo-aloha' which means house of love. The house is built from bricks from one of the local Wellington brick kilns and is asymmetrical with a complex pitched roof of painted corrugated iron.
