'Wilga' forms part of the Currumbah capped and piped bore scheme. The bore head is located on the adjoining property, 'Glenville', which is situated within 1 km of the watering points. There are 7 adjoining rural properties with access to this bore scheme. The water supply is a feature of the property; 3 tanks and 1 trough. In addition to the bore there are 2 stock dams throughout the property plus semi perminant water along the Tackenbri Creek.

'Wilga' is typical for the area with quality Brigalow Belah country. The soil types range from soft reddish loam country running onto predominantly heavier black self-mulching soils. These soils and climate are well suited to growing both winter and summer cereal crops. The country is generally level to gently sloping topography.
The property is considered 100% developed for broad acre cultivation with cereal, oil seed, pulses and dryland cotton planted in rotation. Approx. 572 ha or 95% of the property is currently cultivated. The remainder of the property (approx. 30 Hectares) provides access roads and service area plus timber clumps and shade lines along the Tackenbri Creek.
