Hilltop cottage sits opposite Praise Joes coffee and about 200m from Tighes Hill public school. I used to have my morning coffee on the front verandah and watch my little boy take himself all the way to the school gate. :)

With convenience to the city, close public transport and wonderful cycling and walking options all around, this is a great place to live. There is a little front garden that you will be asked to maintain. There's a semi closed in verandah that adds a litte living space and a warm corner to dry clothes.
The cottage itself is 1896 and has a lot of character. I won't pretend that it's perfect. The main cottage itself has nice bamboo flooring, a large modern kitchen, lounge and the two bedrooms. Paintwork and fittings are in good shape.
Connected to the cottage is a 1950s extension with a 'scullery' right beside the kitchen and a bathroom that has had a very basic makeover. It sports a new toilet and a shower.
A closed in walkway connects this to a laundry nook, a second toilet and a separate, new bathroom that is pretty decent.
Out back is a separate two level terrace and a parking space. There's also currently a container home that will be removed soon.
The house is at present fully furnished and I don't intend to change that, simply as I have nowhere to put all the furniture, so ideally this suits you.
The solar makes the power bill almost disappear in summer and it's cheap even in winter. There's a heat pump for hot water so gas is only used for heating.
As for pets. I'm willing to accept a dog but NO CATS.
