The Willows' and Deloraine' were originally the head quarters of a small station called Hazeldell' esablished in the 1840s between Ellerslie' and Toonga' stations. In 1893, when Hazeldell' was put up for auction, it was described as one of the best watered properties in the district. Ellerslie' purchased part of the property and subsequently called it The Willows'.
The properties are located near the town of Tarcutta. Tarcutta is in south-western New South Wales. The town is 438 km south-west of Sydney and 3 km east of the Hume Hwy and 45 km east of Wagga Wagga, 140 kms North of Albury and 40 kms south of Gundagai.
